Add that to other things I have cut back on and the total comes to about 400 calories a day. 400 calories a day comes to 12,000 calories a month. One pound equals 3,500 calories. Do the math and 12,000/30 days = 3.4 lbs. Not much you say? That comes to 41 lbs for 12 months, a full year. When is the last time you lost that much weight? Here is a 500 calorie a day sample.
