I admit that is not much but I eat at least 5 salads a week. That adds up to around 1800 calories a month or a little more then half a pound of fat. Add that to other things I have cut back on and the total comes to about 400 calories a day. 400 calories a day comes to 12,000 calories a month. One pound equals 3,500 calories. Do the math and 12,000/30 days = 3.4 lbs. Not much you say? That comes to 41 lbs for 12 months, a full year. When is the last time you lost that much weight? Here is a 500 calorie a day sample.

Lets get back to the basics. Start your 30 day trim up weight management plan. Notice the change from weight loss to weight management. That is what we are actually doing, weight management. Every day we manage to cut our calorie intake by around 400 calories. We know that if this is done for the next 365 days that we will end up losing about 41 lbs.
